Around the World and Above summary

     This chapter was about how people around the world were staying alive in isolated situations not on the country or city level.  They start off with the guy talking about how he used castles and other old fortifications to stay alive during the duration of the zombie out break and war.  Then in the second interview they were talking about how they were on a ship or something but they were just relaying radio messeges in a bunch of diffrent languages telling people how to survie and how to make medicin out of mold and other survival tips like that.  Then we move on to South Korea were they were only prepared really because the older generation was afraid that the North was going to attack because they all disapeared over night basically.  Which is super weird they thing that all of north korea is undergound with their glorius leader or something like that.  The next interview was my favorite just because the kid was a internet weirdo who survieved and used a katana to do it.  To think that this kid could survive with a sword with no training at all is not unreasonable but that he started so low man thats impressive if you ask me.  This next guy was blind and he still killed zombies like a pro.  He called himself the great gardener or something and thats cool lets be honest I wish I was blind guy killin zombies in a national reserve with an over sized prayer stick cool.   What happened in cuba is that the people handled the situation very well they were orginized and they took in refugees and handled the fact that they were the only people making food for the world they said they were the bread bowl for the world.  The chinese sailors that escaped on the submarine were neat because at first they were just saving their families then the found the floating island then they got chased off by the hunter killer submarine and then they got to go home and help the revolution people save china and all kinds of good stuff.  The last important guy was an Australian who was in space for the duration of the war and outbreak he saw the whole thing from space he evan made contact with the chinese space station and they took the food from the station which is what allowed them to survive for so long.  Then there was the guy from chili who talked about how the president of the United States felt they needed to go on the offensive or something of the sort.
